I have been thinking for a while whether I should get Microdermabrasion or not. I got it before and it worked. The problem before was that I didn't have a good regime. But now I do and I'm managing to stick to it. Basically it helps to remove blackheads, scaring from acne and wrinkle lines.
I don't suffer from really bad acne but I do have really bad scaring and blackheads everywhere
The only thing stopping me really from getting it is the money. It isn’t very expensive it's just that I’m not working at the moment so don't really want to spend money on things that aren't necessary.
Has anyone tried it? let me know how you got on?

Update
Ok so I just changed my daily regime because there were a few things that just weren't working.
I was using the Clearasil blackhead pads night and day all over my face but they are way too greasy to be using during the day. I also think that they are too severe to be using all over my face because I could see loads of small red patches forming all over my face. I stopped using the clearasil pads for a while and found that the marks were going away. Im kind of annoyed because I bought 2 tubs of the clearasil pads because they had a 2 for 1 deal going on, thats 120 pads all together. So instead of just throwing them away im going to use them at night just on my nose, chin and forehead because I think they were working in this area.

Things that can affect your skin
1) It is important to change your pillow cases every night if you suffer from acne. The oil from your hair and face will go on to the pillow case and if slept on for more then one night bacteria will build up and cause your acne to get worse.
2) Sheets and duvets that touch your face need to be changed regularly also.
3) Make sure hair bands are clean.
4) Scarf’s that come in contact with your chin and neck. Make sure they are clean! Oh and make sure your hats are clean also.
5) If you have a fringe it could be the cause of acne on your forehead. The oil from your hair goes onto your forehead.
6) Use clean make-up brushes/sponges wash regularly.
7) After exercising have a shower straight after.
8) When you sleep try and keep your hair off your face. This could be done by wearing a bandana (make sure bandana is clean! Change daily) or if you have long hair putting it in a ponytail or bun or something similar.
9) Keep your hands away from your face. I hate the feeling of wool near my face so I often wear woolly gloves to stop myself from touching my face.
10) Throw away make- up when it is gone off. You could cut up white labels and write what date you bought the product or what date the product will go off and stick it onto the product. You could also put a reminder in your phone for a month or two in advance of the product going off to make sure you use the product up. This is a little ocd but it will stop you from wasting money.
11) If you use pore extraction tools/exfoliating sponges make sure to clean them.
12) Use a clean towel to dry your face every time you wash your face. Don’t use towels other people use. I like to use a face cloth to dry my face. Use a different one every time. It saves on washing big chunky towels every time. Does not taking up so much room in washing machine/dryer or use a lot of water/detergent etc.
13) Use the same cup for drinking out of. This might help in preventing you from getting cold sores from people in your family or people you live with.
That’s all I can think of for now. Remember I am not a doctor or anything like that. These are just some ideas I came up with on my own and some are from reading articles and from talking to people. If you think of any I can add to the list, just leave a comment and I will be happy to add them on. Hope these help a little.

Snowed In!!
Hey,
So I have had a little bump on my road to beautiful skin in the form of Mother Nature, in that she has locked me into my house! There is so much snow and ice outside I can't go anywhere especially not to any shops and I have been without running water for around a week which is not too bad considering other people have not had water since Christmas Eve. There always seems to be someone else more worse off then you.
The only regime I have been using to clean my skin has been the Clinique 3 Step System just because I had hardly no water to wash my face with and the water I have been using has been freezing cold. Burrrr!!!
But now the snow and ice have gone and that means one thing shopping!!! So I will be heading off tomorrow to but some of the items on my products I will be using list and a few other things which I will be informing you all about shortly.
Oh ya.. I was thinking today that I might take a few photos of my skin everyday or at least every few day and then I might compare if things are getting better and by how much or if things are getting worse (please no!!) I might post it up here depending on the results. I must first check out if I can get a good picture, I have a good camera but it might be a little tricky.

Foods & Acne / Water & Acne
I find everytime I eat certain foods I always breakout.
For me the foods are...
Tomatoes or Tomato soup (and I love tomato soup :-( )
Crisps
I'm planning on getting an allergie test done soon (once the snow and ice goes)
Everyone should prbably get one of these done.
I think everyone now knows that it is essential to drink a lot of water.
But the other day I stumbled across an old programme that had a leading dermatologist that looks after a lot of Hollywood stars( I will try & find his name later) and basically he stated that it is best to eat your water because when we drink water our vital organs take what they need then the rest well goes down the toilet.
While when we eat foods with a high water content we absorb the water and nutrients.
Oh by the way I am not a doctor or a beautician so it is best to go to the doctor before changing any part of your diet and it is important to drink water & eat it.
